Thailand Science Park has officially launched the TSP Scale X Landing Program, a new strategic initiative aimed at creating stronger growth pathways for both Thai and international startups through an integrated innovation ecosystem.

Developed under the concept “Two Journeys. One Ecosystem,” the program is designed to support international startups and innovation-driven companies seeking to establish and grow their presence in Thailand and ASEAN, while also enabling Thai startups to expand into global markets. The initiative reflects Thailand Science Park’s commitment to strengthening the country’s innovation ecosystem by connecting entrepreneurs with the market access, research capabilities, industry partnerships, and support networks required for sustainable growth.

The program is led by Thailand Science Park under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), in collaboration with agencies under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, together with more than 20 partner organizations from the public sector, academia, industry, and investment community.

Designed as a two-year soft-landing and internationalization program running from July 2026 to July 2028, TSP Scale X Landing positions Thailand Science Park as an ecosystem orchestrator, bringing together the key elements startups need to scale successfully. Rather than leaving founders to navigate unfamiliar markets alone, the program offers a coordinated platform that links startups to national R&D infrastructure, industry demand, business opportunities, strategic partners, and relevant support mechanisms. This approach is intended to help participating companies validate markets, develop pilot projects, build commercial partnerships, and accelerate market entry with greater confidence and lower risk.

For international startups, the program is structured around the Land, Localise and Commercialise framework, supporting companies from initial market entry and business setup through product adaptation, pilot implementation, and commercial expansion in Thailand and the ASEAN region. For Thai startups, the program provides a pathway to international growth through access to overseas partner networks, potential customers, investors, laboratories, and strategic collaboration opportunities that can help address common scaling barriers such as limited market access, insufficient testing environments, and lack of cross-border business exposure.

A key differentiator of the program is its access to Thailand’s science, technology and innovation infrastructure through a single entry point. Participating startups can connect with researchers from NSTDA’s five national research centers, along with laboratories, research equipment, pilot plants, testing and standards services, and a network of more than 120 technology companies based within Thailand Science Park. Additional program support covers workspace solutions, market exploration activities, business setup guidance, talent access, business matching opportunities, and connections to national funding mechanisms and demo day platforms.

The launch of the TSP Scale X Landing Program also marks an important evolution in startup development support in Thailand — shifting from a model centered primarily on incubation and funding toward one focused on enabling real market opportunities, real industry engagement, and real business growth through cross-sector collaboration.

Thailand Science Park is scheduled to officially open applications for the first cohort of the TSP Scale X Landing Program on 15 July 2026. For more information about the TSP Scale X Landing Program, please visit: https://www.sciencepark.or.th/en/tsp-scale-x-landing.
