Bangkok, 4 June 2026 — The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Thailand’s food innovation ecosystem by showcasing the capabilities of Thai food tech startups at THAIFEX-ANUGA 2026 through the Food Tech Startup Zone, managed by Food Innopolis, one of NSTDA’s key programs.

The Food Tech Startup Zone recently welcomed Dr. Sriyada Palimaphan, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), during her visit to the exhibition. She was received by Dr. Chularat Tanprasert, NSTDA Deputy Executive Director, Dr. Aekanong Jangbua, Director of Food Innopolis, and Dr. Parames Chumyim, Food Innopolis Accelerator Platform Manager.
The visit highlighted the progress of Thai food tech startups in applying science, technology, research, and innovation to transform limitations into value. By building on local resources and addressing production challenges, these entrepreneurs are developing innovative, value-added food products that respond to market needs and support the sustainable growth of Thailand’s food industry.
As one of NSTDA’s key programs, Food Innopolis plays a central role in identifying and supporting high-potential startups through incubation and acceleration mechanisms aligned with international standards. These support platforms help entrepreneurs refine their products, respond to market needs, and enhance their competitiveness in both domestic and global markets.

Participation in THAIFEX-ANUGA 2026 provided an important international platform for Thai food tech startups to present their innovations, build business networks, and explore partnership opportunities with industry stakeholders from Thailand and abroad.
This activity reflects NSTDA’s ongoing mission to empower Thai startups, advance food innovation, and strengthen the long-term competitiveness of Thailand’s food industry on the global stage.
