On 2 April 2026, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), in collaboration with the Beijing International Exchange Association (BIEA), officially launched the “SUSONG Cup: The 4th Future Industrial Technology Innovation Competition” in Thailand.
The initiative aims to identify and empower high-potential startups and researchers to participate in one of the leading international innovation competitions in the People’s Republic of China.
During the launch event, representatives from NSTDA and BIEA delivered opening remarks highlighting the shared commitment to transforming advanced research into practical, high-impact technological solutions. The competition focuses on three strategic technology domains:
- New Energy and Green Low-Carbon Technologies
- Electronic Information and Future Networks
- Life Sciences and Biotechnology Applications
Participants selected through the SUSONG Cup will receive support to advance their innovations and gain access to international funding opportunities of up to 500,000 USD. Applications are now open.
