On April 28, 2026, Thailand Science Park (TSP) under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cyberport, Hong Kong’s leading digital technology incubator.

The collaboration aims to advance Thai startups and technology entrepreneurs—particularly in Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), FinTech, and Smart City solutions—by fostering innovation-driven cooperation and expanding business opportunities between Thailand and Hong Kong.
The partnership is designed to support Thai startups in accessing international markets through market‑entry facilitation, strategic business partnerships, and pilot technology collaborations with industry counterparts. A notable early success is the selection of Nano Coating Tech, a Thai startup specializing in nano‑coating innovations for industrial applications and solar panel efficiency enhancement. The company was admitted into the Cyberport Incubation Programme and awarded a HK$500,000 grant. This opportunity has enabled the startup to connect with investor networks, global industry partners, and business development resources that support its growth from early‑stage development to international expansion. This achievement highlights the competitiveness and capability of Thai startups on the global stage.
A key highlight of the programme is its ability to reduce barriers to early market testing in Thailand, strengthen cross‑border business collaboration, and accelerate market entry for participating companies. The next round of applications for Thai startups interested in joining the programme is scheduled to open in early July.
NSTDA remains committed to fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem and supporting Thai startups in accessing global markets through strategic partnerships and international collaboration.
