Lindau, Federal Republic of Germany, 28 June 2026 — Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presented the opening ceremony of the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, held this year under the theme of Interdisciplinary Sciences, in Lindau, Federal Republic of Germany.

Also present on this occasion were senior representatives from the Information Technology Foundation under the Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), together with six outstanding young Thai scientists selected to represent Thailand at this distinguished international gathering.

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, held from 28 June to 3 July 2026, is a renowned global forum that brings together Nobel laureates and exceptional young scientists from more than 100 countries. The meeting is intended to promote scholarly exchange, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and strengthen collaboration between eminent scientists and the next generation of researchers.

For Thailand’s participation, NSTDA, in collaboration with the Information Technology Foundation under the Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, conducted the national selection process and submitted the final nominees for royal consideration. The six Thai representatives, comprising researchers from doctoral, postdoctoral, and academic levels, were selected in recognition of their academic excellence, research capabilities, and potential to contribute meaningfully to the international scientific community.

Their participation in the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting marks an important opportunity to engage directly with Nobel laureates and leading researchers from around the world, while also expanding international perspectives, academic networks, and collaborative opportunities. The experience is expected to further strengthen the capacity of Thailand’s young scientists and contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and sustainable national development.
