On 26 November 2025, the Sirindhorn Science Home of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in Pathum Thani hosted the official opening and special screening programme of the Science Film Festival 2025. Organized in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Thailand and a network of educational and science partners, the festival—held from 24 to 28 November 2025—promotes science learning and public awareness of science, technology, and environmental issues. It offers students and the general public an engaging opportunity to explore scientific concepts through films and interactive activities.

Under the theme “Green Jobs”, this year’s festival features 28 films from 14 countries, showcasing stories that emphasize sustainability, innovation, and future-ready skills. The event brings together representatives from partner organizations, educators, and youth to experience science through cinema, discussions, and hands-on workshops that make learning both fun and meaningful. Celebrating its 21st consecutive year in Thailand, the Science Film Festival continues to expand nationwide, with screenings taking place from 1 November to 20 December 2025 at venues including the National Science Museum, Thai Film Archive, TK Park, and various learning parks and science centres across the country. All films are dubbed or subtitled in Thai, ensuring accessibility for audiences of all ages.

Through this long-standing collaboration, NSTDA and its partners reaffirm their commitment to fostering a culture of science learning, sparking curiosity among Thai youth, and inspiring the next generation to pursue sustainable careers that contribute to a greener and more innovative future.
