The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) was honored with the Outstanding Research Award (SLRI Award) for its groundbreaking research in energy storage materials. The award-winning project, titled “Bamboo-Derived Hard Carbon/Carbon Nanotube Composites as Anode Material for Long-Life Sodium-Ion Batteries with High Charge/Discharge Capacities,” represents a remarkable fusion of environmental sustainability and advanced materials science. Led by Dr. Chakrit Sriprachuabwong, a researcher from ENTEC’s Energy Storage Technology Research Team, the project was developed in collaboration with Dr. Adisorn Tuantranont, Director of the Thailand Microelectronics Center (TMEC), NSTDA.
