The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, congratulates Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Team Leader of the Solar Cell Technology Research Team, Energy Innovation Research Group, on being awarded the prestigious Australia for ASEAN (Aus4ASEAN) Fellowship to participate in the program on “Sustainable Energy Transition and Green Skills.”
The Aus4ASEAN Fellowship is an international award presented by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to emerging leaders from ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste.
Dr. Amornrat is a leading expert in solar cell technology in Thailand and plays a key role in promoting photovoltaic (PV) sustainability, advancing both solar energy research and policy at the national level. Her work focuses on enhancing the efficiency and durability of solar cells in tropical humid climates, while promoting sustainability in solar power generation systems. She achieves this through developing comprehensive mechanisms and tools that support systematic management of solar panels throughout the entire value chain.
With her strong commitment to research and innovation for societal benefit, Dr. Amornrat exemplifies the leadership and impact of Thai women scientists in the global energy transition. This fellowship marks another significant step in extending the reach and impact of her work across the region and beyond.
