NSTDA and its partners prepares to close Sirindhorn Science Home Field Hospital for Disabled Persons on 30 September 2021 as the number of disabled COVID-19 patients tapers. The hospital sent off its last three patients on 27 September. The facility will return to serve as a permanent science camp.

 

The field hospital opened to treat COVID-19 asymptomatic patients with disabilities on 1 June 2021. To date, the hospital has cared for 650 people, of which 590 were discharged and 60 were referred to main hospitals.
