NSTDA President Dr. Narong Sirilertworakul has been selected to serve on the Ethical Governance, Standards of Excellence, and Quality Leadership Committee of the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF). WBAF aims to foster innovative financial instruments for startups, scaleups, innovators, entrepreneurs and SMEs and the Ethical Governance, Standards of Excellence, and Quality Leadership Committee will help guide WBAF to achieve the highest quality standards.
To accelerate the development of Thai angel investors in order to completely fulfill Thailand’s startups ecosystem, NSTDA established a partnership with WBAF in 2019 and founded WBAF Thailand Country Office, the first of its kind in the ASEAN region. With a wide range of activities, the office serves as a driver to create linkage and support for start-ups/scale-ups and high-growth businesses and initiate opportunities to connect with hundreds of highly qualified angel investors from Thailand and abroad, thus stimulating the growth of SMEs along with supporting job creation.
