On 1 May 2020, NSTDA, the Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education and the Community-based Health Research and Development Foundation entered into an MOU to establish R&D and knowledge management platform for the elderly and disabled. The MOU signing ceremony was presided by Deputy Minister of Education Kanokwan Wilawan.
The project aims to integrate information from partner organization in order to enhance quality of life and lifelong learning of the elderly and disabled. In this project, Assistive Technology and Medical Devices Center (A-MED), a NSTDA focus center, is responsible for a website, www.thaisynergy.org, serving as a one-stop-service information and knowledge center connecting users to welfare programs and services for seniors and the disabled as well as a wealth of knowledge to support lifelong learning. The platform has a user-friendly design, providing easy access to seniors, the disabled, their family members and caretakers and promoting independence in the elderly and disabled. In addition, the website is designed to be safe and stable. Information on the website will be curated to ensure that it is up-to-date and useful for users.
