Ms. Suwipa Wanasathop, NSTDA Vice President for Thailand Science Park, was recently elected to serve as the President of Asia Pacific Division of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). She took over the role from outgoing president, Mr. Haofeng Lai who is General Manager of Shanghai Caohejing Hi-tech Park Innovation Center. Over the next two years of her term, Ms. Suwipa intends to promote collaboration among science parks and areas of innovation in the Asia-Pacific region and reinforce partnerships between science parks in the Asia-Pacific and those in other regions to stimulate global innovation and investment.
IASP is a global network for science parks and areas of innovation with 350 members from 73 countries. Its mission is to drive growth, internationalization and effectiveness for its members.
