I would like to invite you to the upcoming 2nd USDA Food Loss and Waste Innovation Fair to be held on September 14th (live 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT).   This free, virtual innovation fair will highlight state-of-the-art technical solutions to reduce food loss and waste and other successful strategies.  Featured organizations include:

  • U.S. Food Loss and Waste 2030 Champions
  • USDA agencies working on food loss and waste-reducing activities
  • USDA-funded organizations that are developing or marketing food loss and waste reducing technologies
  • Local and municipal governments and their partners that have received USDA composting and food waste reduction grants.

Attendees can live text or chat with representatives from the dozens of virtual booths.  A wide array food loss and waste publications and videos will all be available for free download.  New this year will be presentations from federal and industry experts and a networking lounge to interact with presenters and other attendees.

Here is the direct registration link (free to all):  Register today

I certainly hope you can attend and visit our virtual booths and hear our presentations!  More information on the agenda will be available soon.

Since this is free and open for everyone interested in food loss and waste to attend, please feel free to share widely.
