LUMI, Europe’s most powerful supercomputer, was inaugurated on 13 June 2022 in Kajaani, Finland. The supercomputer has been set up in one of the world’s greenest data centres, which is hosted by CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd. LUMI offers European researchers a world-class tool for understanding complicated phenomena, such as climate change.
