First joint field survey was conducted at 5 locations in Chiang Rai: Ban Pong Pa Kham; Ban Haui San; Ban Pa Kham Samakkhi; Ban Na-to; Ban Ruam Chai. There were 13 Thai HCMR researchers and 8 Japanese HCMR researchers from 4 disciplines, including Humanities, Economics, Biology and Ecology and Geography.
