Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. continues its collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), in partnership with the Food Waste Hub network and the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (SOS), to support the development of Thailand’s Food Bank.

As part of this initiative, the partners engaged in discussions and consultations on effective surplus food management approaches, followed by a field visit to the Nang Loeng community. Toyota supported the initial phase of the project by providing a modified pickup truck (Toyota Hilux Champ) equipped with a cargo unit, along with a driver, to facilitate food collection and distribution operations.

In addition, Toyota contributed rice bran oil products to enhance the nutritional value of food distributed within the community.

This collaboration aims to reduce surplus food waste, lower methane emissions, and improve sustainable access to food for communities in need.
