(26 September 2025, Muang Thong Thani) Dr. Pattamaporn Prachomrat, Senior Policy Researcher at the Corporate Strategy and Policy Management Division, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), received the Outstanding Agricultural Research Award 2025 presented by the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) (ARDA).
The awarded research project, titled “A Study on Surplus Food Management Approaches (Food Surplus): A Case Study of Pilot Areas in Bangkok and Provincial Regions,” received the 3rd Outstanding Award in the agricultural research category. The award certificate was presented by Dr. Vicharn Ingsrisawang, Executive Director of ARDA.
The project was conducted under NSTDA’s strategic framework, “S&T Implementation for Sustainable Thailand,” which focuses on reducing food waste and strengthening food security among vulnerable populations through the application of innovations developed by NSTDA’s three national centers: BIOTEC, MTEC, and NECTEC. The initiative was implemented in collaboration with the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (SOS Thailand) and partner networks from the public sector, private sector, and civil society organizations.
On this occasion, Dr. Nuanwan Sanguansak, Assistant Executive Director of NSTDA, also joined in congratulating the research team and presented a bouquet of flowers in recognition of the achievement.
