These technologies have been introduced to farmers through learning centers operated by academic institutes and private enterprises. This new agreement will further expand the collaboration between NSTDA and Siam Kubota Corporation into the research and development domain based on the strengths of each party to bolster Thailand’s farming sector and drive the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) agenda.

Ms. Waraporn Osathapan stated that Siam Kubota Corporation and NSTDA have a long-standing collaboration. NSTDA’s array of smart farming technologies have been showcased at KUBOTA Farm, a learning center established by Siam Kubota Corporation to give farmers an access to advanced agriculture technologies and machinery solutions that can help optimize farming efficiency. Through this newly developed partnership, Siam Kubota Corporation and NSTDA expects to develop and apply smart farm technologies and IoT-based solutions, including KUBOTA (Agri) Solutions to accelerate the transition to sustainable agriculture in Thailand.
