Nanotechnology underpins transformative progress across agriculture, environmental remediation, and healthcare through the design and deployment of responsive, precisely engineered materials and devices. Such technologies enable targeted delivery systems, enhanced environmental monitoring and remediation, and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic platforms, addressing critical regional and global challenges.
The Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nano bionics (SINANO), Chinese Academy of Sciences, is distinguished for its rigorous, interdisciplinary research in functional nanomaterials and nano bio interfaces. SINANO’s demonstrable strengths—exemplified by advances in aerogel based triple state gels, printable flexible and perovskite photovoltaics, and organoid enabled biotechnologies—complement NANOTEC’s translational capabilities and NSTDA’s infrastructure, collectively accelerating innovation from fundamental discovery to application.
This seminar establishes a platform to formalize collaborative research agendas focused on responsive nanomaterials for precision agriculture, environmental sustainability, and health monitoring. The NANOTEC–SINANO partnership seeks to engage additional Thai academic and research institutions in joint projects, shared infrastructures, and coordinated human capacity and startup development programs, thereby strengthening the regional deep tech ecosystem.
