Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani (November 24, 2025)
The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), represented by Dr. Chularat Tanprasert, Executive Vice President of NSTDA, received a financial contribution of 150 million baht to the National Science and Technology Development Fund from Mr. Katsuaki Nakagawa, President of Mitsubishi Electric Consumer Products (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
During the presentation, Mr. Katsuaki stated that it was a great honor for the company to contribute to NSTDA. He expressed confidence that science, technology, and innovation are vital and necessary for the country’s sustainable development, and that this support would help advance NSTDA’s research initiatives and activities to benefit society, offering hope and a promising future for younger generations.
Dr. Chularat, on behalf of the receiving delegation, expressed gratitude to the company for recognizing the importance of developing skills, technology, and innovation. NSTDA will allocate the supported funds to its core missions, which encompass research, development, and innovation activities; technical personnel development; the promotion and support of domestic SMEs; and the development of technological infrastructure for future industries.
