RNA sequencing

We use EST/cDNA/RNA/miRNA sequencing to study gene expression profiles, alternate splicing, and transcript annotation. Short-read sequencing platform such as Ion Torrent and MGISEQ has been used to study gene expression profiles. Iso-seq using a long-read PacBio sequencing platform is used to study alternative splicing and discover rare new transcripts.

Quantitative real-time PCR

We have the QuantStudio systems for validating RNA sequencing data and for studying the expression of known target genes. Our systems accommodate both 96-well and 384-well formats and are capable of detecting five different fluorescent dyes simultaneously.
