1. Application and Screening Procedure<\/h2>
A. Application Documents (File must be pdf, doc, docx, ppt, pptx, xls, xlxs, zip, rar. Maximum size: 5 MB)<\/div>
  1. Photograph (1 x 1 inch), taken within the last six months.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Official Bachelor’s transcript with grade point.<\/li>
  3. Statement of purpose (Summary of senior projects, Statement for study motivation, or Statement of research interest)<\/li>
  4. *Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s Advisor. (A recommendation form can be downloaded<\/a> from attach file)<\/span> \"\"<\/a><\/li>
  5. *Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s Lecturer or Head of department or Company supervisor, if available. (A recommendation form is the same as above)<\/li>
  6. Applicants must submit one of the following English proficiency score as below<\/li><\/ol>

    Remark:
    1. English Proficiency must be taken within two years before the application date.
    2. English scores are not required in the case of graduation from a country where English is the official language. The applicant may exempt from English Proficiency requirements if the applicant is graduated from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States of America.<\/span><\/p>

    B. Online Application: Fill in the online application at

    C.\u00a0Selection : TAIST-Science Tokyo application committee screen applicants for admission ad inform potential applicants to confirm their invitation to the scheduled interview process via e-mail and make an announcement of eligibility of applicants on website. Note: At the time of admission and scholarship screening procedure, committee may contact the applicants for missing documents or further information.<\/p>

    D. <\/span>Potential applicants attend the appointed interview with missing documents or other documents upon the committees request.<\/p>

    E. TAIST-Science Tokyo announces the Scholarship result and informs successful applicants to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship via Reply form and submit required documents back to their host University.<\/span><\/p>

    Remark:<\/u><\/strong> If it is later discovered that the applicant lacks any of the specified qualifications or if the information provided in the application is found to be false, the application will be disqualified. Additionally, any evidence supporting the application that is determined to be false or forged will result in disqualification. This applies even if the applicant has successfully completed the selection process. Furthermore, applicants found to have submitted false information may be subject to criminal prosecution in accordance with the law.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    2. Master Degree Scholarships (International Program)<\/h2>

    <\/p>

    TAIST-Science Tokyo\u00a0has offered three Master\u2019s Degree programs with various Thai universities acting as hosts. First year students are expected to enroll in courses taught mainly by professors from Institute of Science Tokyo. In the second year, researches for dissertations will be carried out mainly in NSTDA various laboratories with NSTDA researchers acting as supervisors or co-supervisors. Professors from Institute of Science Tokyo will actively participate in the educational process of the students throughout each program. After a successful completion of both course work and thesis, the students will receive degrees from the host universities. These programs are :<\/p>

    1. Automotive and Advanced Transportation Engineering : A2TE Program The host universities are KMITL, KMUTT and CU.<\/li>
    2. Biomedical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence: BIOMED & AI Program The host universities are MU, SIIT and KU.<\/li>
    3. Sustainable Energy and Resources Engineering: SERE Program The host universities are SIIT and KU.<\/li><\/ol>

      3. Eligibility of Applicants<\/h2>
      1. Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor\u2019s degree or be in their final year of Bachelor\u2019s study in Engineering or Science (Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgical, Control Engineering, Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Materials Science, Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Agro-Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields. Applicants must obtain their Bachelor\u2019s degree prior to the commencement of the Master\u2019s program.<\/li>
      2. Applicants with a cumulative GPA below 2.75\/4.00<\/strong> may be considered under the following conditions:
        Applicants who have already graduated Bachelor degree:
        Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
        1. Have at least two 2 years of relevant work experience related to the intended field of study (calculated up to the application submission date); or<\/strong>
        2. Have sufficient research experience related to the intended program; or<\/strong>
        3. Have received outstanding academic or research awards at the Bachelor\u2019s level.
        The Program Director will consider eligible applicants and determine whether they will be invited for an interview.

        Applicants who have not yet graduated or are in their final year of study:
        Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
        1. Have sufficient research experience related to the intended program; or
        2. Have received outstanding academic or research awards at the Bachelor\u2019s level.
        In this case, the Program Director will determine whether the applicant will be invited for an interview. Applicants whose GPA does not meet the minimum requirement will be considered conditionally until a complete academic transcript for all semesters is submitted.

        Applicants who pass the selection process under this category will be designated as \u201cConditionally Eligible for the Scholarship.\u201d
        A complete and qualifying academic transcript must be submitted prior to the official announcement of scholarship recipients.
        Failure to provide the required academic documents will result in disqualification from the selection process.<\/li>
