NSTDA, in collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Khon Kaen University and the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), recently organized a seminar to discuss energy storage technology in Thailand and propose the establishment of Thailand Energy Storage Technology Alliance (TESTA). The seminar was opened by Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Director of Materials for Energy Research Group, MTEC-NSTDA. Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Leader of Electrochemical Materials and System Research Team, MTEC-NSTDA, introduced TESTA concept to the audience, followed by a panel discussion on status and trend of energy storage technology in Thailand with representatives from Ministry of Energy, the Federation of Thai Industries, PEC Technology (Thailand) Company Limited, Energy Absolute Public Company Limited and Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC).
