The 1st International Course on Technologies on the Analysis of Carbon Satellite Data is open enrollment now!

The training courses on Technologies on the Analysis of Carbon Satellite Data are designed and coordinated by Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) and Cooperation on the Analysis of Carbon Satellites Data (CASA). They promote and foster individual and organizational effectiveness by developing and offering an array of innovative and diverse courses in support of the widespread use of carbon satellite data among international societies, space agencies and research institutes in developing countries. Participants will acquire important knowledge and skills in various areas in the international policies to accelerate the “Net-Zero” transition, the major international carbon satellite datasets and services, and the technologies to use these data as part of the multi-component courses. A wide range of participants is from researchers, students, faculties, university staff, and policymakers. The training courses will promote the widespread use of carbon satellite data, advance the basic and applied regional and local carbon studies, and build collaborative networking among developing countries to better complete the common goal of “Net-Zero Emission”.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the training courses will be held online accessing through Zoom Meetings on February 14-25, 2022, which will last 2 weeks.

The online accessing link of the Zoom Meetings to join the courses will be only sent to all registrants. And a training certificate will be awarded to all registrants after they have completed the training courses.

Grant Opportunity: The Scientific Committee will vote 3-5 proposals submitted by registrants within 1 month after the training courses. The winner will be granted full funds to have a one-month visiting study in China. All-round research support including data and computing resources, as well as funds are covered.
