สัมภาษณ์ ศ.ดร. ยงยุทธ ยุทธวงษ์

เมื่อวันที่ 20 กรกฎาคม 2553 สำนักข่าวต่างประเทศ TropIKA.net ได้สัมภาษณ์ ศ.ดร. ยงยุทธ  ยุทธวงษ์ และอาจารย์ผู้ใหญ่ใน สวทช.  ซึ่งบทความนี้ได้ถูกตีพิมพ์ใน TropIKA.net  ซึ่งในบทความนี้ ได้กล่าวถึง ตัวยา P218 ยาต้านมาลาเรียตัวใหม่ (candidate drug) ซึ่งได้เข้าสู่ขั้นตอนการทดสอบ pre-clinical trial โดยนับเป็นยาตัวแรกที่คิดค้นออกแบบโดยนักวิจัยไทยที่เข้าสู่ขั้นตอนนี้ และยังได้กล่าวถึงประวัติการจัดตั้งศูนย์ไบโอเทค  การพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีของประเทศไทย และอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ประเทศไทย รายละเอียดสามารถเข้าชมได้ที่ http://www.tropika.net/svc/interview/Anderson20100720-Profile-BIOTEC

TropIKA.net, Tropical Diseases Research to Foster Innovation & Knowledge Application, has published an article on 20 July 2010, about BIOTEC and Thailand, titled “BIOTEC leads Thailand’s leapfrog towards self-sufficiency”.  The article was the result of interviews various Thai experts, including Prof. Yongyuth Yuthavong.  Covered in the article were the candidate anti-malarial drug, P218, designed by Prof. Yongyuth’s team, the history of BIOTEC, Thailand’s S&T development and Thailand Science Park.
